Arusi — Kiswahili for wedding
The name
Arusi HQ
Arusi HQ is a wedding management app. Couples and co-organizers run the wedding; guests use one clear link.
The name
Arusi is a Kiswahili word for wedding. It is equivalent to Harusi — same meaning, same celebration. We chose Arusi HQ so the product name itself speaks wedding, in a language many East and Central African families already know.
01
Arusi — Kiswahili for wedding
02
Harusi — the same idea, widely used too
03
HQ — the command center that helps you run it
Your way
Arusi HQ grows from African celebration culture — committees, protocol, community roles, and recognition for people who serve. That is home. It is also open to every other way families celebrate: Western, Asian, Latin American, Middle Eastern, island, church or civil, and every mix in between. We do not force one culture. We give you one link and one command center for the way your celebration actually runs.
01
African roots — committees, protocol, and community service
02
Every tradition welcome — bring your customs, languages, and rhythm
03
Mixed families — one shared plan without erasing anyone’s way
Why this platform
The feelings stay. The facts fade — even the date. Who came, who RSVPed, who served on the committee, what was cooked, who checked in at the door, what the program said. Chat threads and paper lists disappear. Arusi HQ keeps the living record while you run the wedding — then leaves your family with more than photos: the date, the people, the plan, and what was recognized.
Preserve
Keep the wedding record in one place — the date, guests, roles, RSVPs, meals, check-ins, program, announcements, and certificates — so even years later the facts are still there.
Empower
Give couples, co-organizers, and committee helpers shared tools and clear jobs, so the wedding does not depend on one person remembering everything alone.
Modernize
Replace scattered spreadsheets, WhatsApp lists, and paper piles with one guest link and one dashboard — without erasing the culture and care of how your family celebrates.
That is Wekify’s mission in practice: Preserve. Empower. Modernize.
Beyond the wedding day
Arusi HQ is wedding-native — that is the heart of the product. The same operating model can also support other events people gather for: graduations, memorials, family reunions, community celebrations, and more. One guest link, a clear roster, roles for helpers, day-of tools, and recognition when the work deserves it.
01
Wedding-first today — deepest fit for couples and committees
02
Same shape for other celebrations that need guests, roles, and a day-of plan
03
Certificates and verification can recognize service beyond one wedding
What you actually get
Arusi HQ is not only an invitation page. It is the operating layer around the wedding: the public link guests see, the private dashboard organizers use, and the day-of tools helpers need when people start arriving.
Every wedding gets a shareable /w/ link. Guests can open the invitation, sign in, confirm attendance, choose meals and drinks, add dietary notes, read details, and return later without needing a PDF thread or scattered messages.
The organizer dashboard keeps the wedding roster separate from the public guest experience. Couples and trusted helpers can manage members, invite co-organizers, assign committee roles, and keep permissions focused on the work each person should do.
Meal choices are not just stored as answers. They feed the organizer side, where dishes, categories, dietary needs, per-guest kg estimates, and price-per-kg inputs can turn RSVPs into a grounded shopping and reporting view.
Arusi HQ gives the wedding a central update channel. Organizers can post announcements, guests can use the members-only feed for photos and comments, and moderators can keep the shared space useful.
On the wedding day, the dashboard turns into an operations console. Door teams can use QR or short codes to mark arrivals, organizers can follow the program, and the team can keep the room moving with shared context.
Arusi HQ supports multilingual families while respecting the words that matter. Because Wekify LLC is a language-preservation company, additional languages can be added by request when the couple, family, or community provides accurate translated copy for the English interface text.
Each wedding has a shareable /w/ link. Guests sign in and stay on one place for the essentials.
From /organizer/your-wedding you run the same wedding: people, food, roles, and day-of.
Menu dishes connect to RSVPs so inventory and shopping stay grounded in who is coming.
App chrome is currently available in English, French, Swahili, and Kifuliiru · β. Additional languages can be added by request when the couple, family, or community provides accurate translated copy for the English interface text.
Everything in Arusi HQ is a part of wedding management — not a separate product story.
Invitation & RSVP, members & committee, menu & inventory, announcements & feed, door check-in, program, and certificates. One wedding, those parts.
